If I have a query about a specific JET petrol service station how do I get in touch?

If the question is about the day to day operation of the site, including services offered, opening hours and car parking, we recommend that you get in touch with the site directly. The day to day running of the site is handled at each individual petrol station site by the dealer or SSO.

Do your fuels contain Ethanol?

Drivers looking to fill up at one of our 300+ JET branded petrol station forecourts throughout the UK currently have two fuel options: they can choose our regular JET petrol which contains up to 10%ethanol (E10) as per latest BS EN228 or, where it is available, they can choose our new JET ULTRA Premium Unleaded, with its minimum 97 RON, containing up to5% ethanol (E5).

Will JET ULTRA Premium Fuel work in my engine?

JET ULTRA Premium Unleaded meets the BS EN 228 British Standard, and JET ULTRA Premium Diesel meets the BS EN 590 standard. These are British Standards for fuel on which vehicles are designed to run. The effects of cleaning depend on factors such as what fuel you used previously, age, type and state of your vehicle, the road conditions, your style of driving and journey time.

Are there biofuels in your products?

In line with the UK Government’s Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation (known as RTFO), transport fuel suppliers have a legal requirement to use a certain percentage of renewable fuels (e.g. biofuels, including ethanol), or pay a buy-out fee. Under the RTFO suppliers of road transport and non-road mobile machinery fuel in the UK must be able to show that a percentage of the fuel they supply comes from renewable and sustainable sources or pay a buy-out fee.

What is FAME?

FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) is the generic chemical term for biodiesel derived from renewable sources. In the UK, these are mostly waste products like Used Cooking Oil, Vegetable Oils, Tallows and greases etc.

We’re competitive, we only offer clear and transparent fuel deals with no hidden costs. So, if you’re looking for the smartest forecourts, friendly and dedicated Account Managers, and reliable, competitive fuel deals, you’re in the right place. And the best news is, it’s easy to switch.

What's the difference between a JET dealer and a JET Service Station Operator?

SSO's are third parties contracted by JET to operate a JET company owned petrol station on a commission operation basis. A JET dealer owns and operates its site independently, under a branding and fuel supply agreement with JET.

Where does JET's fuel come from?

The JET brand is backed by Phillips 66's own refinery in Northern Lincolnshire and JET's quality fuel is transported via road tanker, pipeline, rail and shipping to multiple locations across the UK. Like many other brands, in areas where it is not economical to use fuel from the refinery, we buy from third parties, but always ensuring the fuel meets the same high standards.
